Stella's Fish - She caught 7 & I caught 2!
The longest one was 13 inches and was caught by hooking the tail!

2 Much for Jenny, but she enjoyed it!
SUNDAY AUGUST 2, 2009
Today was a great day - we decided to drive out to Abbotsford to Birchwood Dairy again and take Jenny & Stella.
We first stopped in at Wall mart to pick up a purse for Stella's Mom and then we headed out down 16th Avenue to Abbotsford. We turned RIGHT on Bradner road and continued down. Down a hill we saw some gorgeous ponds and thought what a nice place - as we turned the corner we saw that it was a Trout farm. The girls had never been fishing so we decided to stop in thinking we would catch our token fish.
The big pond was a bust so we moved over to the smaller fish pond. Our Stellar catcher - Stella caught 7 of the 9 almost one after the other. John could not keep up. I caught 2. So we came out with 9 fish for 5 people.
I called my fisherman father to confirm how to cook them and then we carried on to Abbotsford. The dairy was hot but a great short stop. After our ice-cream we headed home and I got the wonderful job of CLEANING our fish. Stella was thrilled. I stuffed them with fresh lemon and butter & pepper. We also picked up some fresh Corn on the cob for our dinner.
John BBQ'd them at about 10 minutes per side.
WOW were they ever amazing.
We had a great day and I would definitely go again!
