2010 Winter Olympic Excitement!

The 2010 Winter Olympics are quickly approaching! We, at The Guest House, are getting ready for our international & local guests to arrive.

We are starting to welcome them as of February 1, 2010 and continue to host them all the way up to March 4, 2010. It is an exciting time at The Guest House and we are looking forward to having these Guests and how they love our city & the Games.

The Menus have been planned and the House has been re-arranged so that everyone has an enjoyable time here.

Bus routes need to be worked out for getting to & from Events, but I am sure everyone in Vancouver is ready for the traffic & people and helping them get to their events in a timely fashion.

I would recommend at least a 2 hour window for local event trip planning and more for getting up the mountains etc. I know that Translink is preparing the Skytrain & buses for the additional ridership.

The Guest House is a very short ride from King George Skytrain and walking distance from 88th Avenue & 144th bus Stop - You can either take the number "326" directly to the King George Skytrain station or the "388" goes down 88th Avenue and over the Alex Fraser Bridge to the 22nd Street Skytrain station.

We are Fully booked as of February 12, 2010 and Available again for Monthly Guests as of March 1, 2010.

For all Guests arriving in Vancouver within the next few weeks - Enjoy your time here and remember to take lots of pictures so you can enjoy this time for years to come.

*** The Guest House recommends that all guests to Vancouver remember to take their hand cleanser to ensure a healthy visit - We at the Guest House have had both our FLUE shot and our H1N1 Flue shot to ensure everyone remains Healthy while staying with us ***

If you have any questions - Please remember to always ask us - either by email or phone.

Take care
